Summary
Reigen is oddly silent.
Serizawa concentrates on what he wants to say to follow, and tries to level his own breaths. “I know you had to go to him. I felt the storm cease immediately after you left, but it just…” He scrounges for the words. “It hurts.”
“Hurts?” Reigen murmurs curiously. He laughs, but not unkindly, sleep softening the sound. “My pain...it hurts you, too?”
After the city is torn in two, Serizawa observes Reigen’s recovery.

It’s the last week of July, and the whole world is beautiful. But Serizawa’s night classes are on summer break and he hasn’t made any plans, so he’s working full time according to Reigen’s erratic schedule.
It would’ve been fine. He likes the work. He likes Reigen. But his blood pressure is suffering the effects of seeing his boss slash crush slash best friend in the world throw himself in harms way every weekday between the hours of 08-18.

Summary
He isn't sure what exactly pushes him to be difficult right then, when he nods resolutely and marches past Serizawa to the stairs. He hears the other man's footfalls rushing to catch up behind him, and finds he doesn't need confirmation when they reach the right door, the way the air crackles around them. The way he can taste it, staticky on his tongue, fizzing when he swallows.
It's a perfectly normal, innocuous looking door, but the presence inside looms.

“Hm? Ah. I forgot to warn you, Shishou’s energy is kind of… weird.” Shigeo said, voice contemplative. “It’s part of why I believed him when he said he was an esper, when I was a kid.”
“And we’re, uh, sure that he’s not an esper?” Serizawa checked, even while it made him feel a little silly to question it.
“He couldn’t see spirits or curses at all before I had him borrow my powers at the 7th division base.” Mob recounted “And he told me himself that he’s not an esper. He didn’t even believe ghosts and espers were real until I showed him my powers the day we met.”
Serizawa turned to look at Shigeo, seeing the vaguely conflicted expression on the teen’s face, and the way he shrugged in apparent defeat.OR: 5 times Reigen used his empath powers without knowing he was an esper, and the time Serizawa finally told him.

"Master Reigen was pulling hooks and fancy pieces of bait and flair from a tackle box, laying them all out on the dock, considering them with a hand against his chin, before putting all the pieces back into the box in new areas. Mob watched, overwhelmed with just how much there was, as he held in his trembling hands the two fishing rods Reigen had brought. The dock quietly rocked and shifted underneath his feet with each wave from the lake that lapped against it.
“Uhm, Master?” Mob dared to ask, breaking the silence, as Reigen held a hook that had a small rubber fish affixed to it up in front of his face and squinted at it weirdly aggressively, “Why- What are we here for again?” "
Reigen and Mob get hired to take care of a fish spirit in a lake, and they go fishing for it, and there's nothing much more to this oneshot than that.
