She's looking for a dog and a killer and a girl on a propaganda poster, all rolled into one. She's explains it over and over, whispered filth worming its way into your ear, telling you what's going to happen, how impressive the monster you'll become will be.
And it's such a nice thing to be told. It's so much easier to let someone else write your story, pen in the words and place the periods, hand over the reins and stop thinking about all the ways you've never been enough.
