    "I'll be a dentist in a year," Hermione replied with a pleasant smile when Petunia asked. The woman's eyes sparkled, and she shot a look at Henry.
    "I'm delighted you joined us, Miss Granger," she said with visible pleasure.
    "Hermione is just fine," the young witch assured quickly.
    Henry knew what his mother was thinking. He didn't correct her. Not that he would engage in a relationship with Hermione. Well... if she were a dentist, he could, but a full-time witch? Not a chance.

    Harry Potter quickly adjusted to living with the Dursleys. He quickly adapted their norms as his own.
    Hogwarts? No, thank you. I'll be an Oxford-educated lawyer, let's be serious.
    But what if deleting such a huge part of his identity wasn't really a good idea? Or was it?
