Summary
Monty knows that even if he were to tell the truth, no one would ever believe him.
The story everyone spreads to the new employees, whispered theories and conversations in the back rooms when management isn’t listening is that Bonnie went to Gator Golf for unknown reasons, and Monty experienced a bug in his programming that caused him to attack Bonnie. Bonnie was subsequently broken and forced to be decommissioned.
The truth is much more complicated than that.

Summary
Kryptonians are not human. It’s easy to forget, even for Clark. That being an alien means more than his powers. There are traits rooted into the DNA, coming out in the subconscious, until not even Clark notices. Kryptonians, among other things, build Bowers for their mates, beautiful homes to settle into. It’s more than a tradition, it’s a way of life.
