Summary
When Kojiro isn’t busy in the kitchen or serving patrons, his eyes are constantly on Kaoru. Kaoru’s on his A-game, turning on his special sort of magnetism in that way he’s always been able to do since they were kids. He has the most dour of prospective buyers smiling and laughing at his anecdotes, and the most judgemental of critics nodding along with rapt interest as he explains his artistic process.
Occasionally, Kaoru will catch Kojiro staring from across the room. Before Kojiro can save face, Kaoru will just look him up and down with a smirk before returning his attention to the guests. Kojiro blushes and sputters every time.
The art show won’t end for another couple hours, and he’s already sporting a half-chub.
