    Ilya didn't expect a call, especially not from Alexei, and especially not after his unwanted coming out. He ignored it shamelessly.
    But when he discovered his brother's death, Ilya found himself being the tutor of his kids and has to bring them from Russia to Canada.
    Ilya isn't ready to be a dad. The shadow of his own father is still above him, and he doesn't want to fail this.

    Shane, when he discovered that they'll have to take care of Alexei's children, felt both excited and anxious: he was barely able to deal with his own feelings alone, so help kids to do the same felt impossible. Especially if you consider that Shane doesn't speak Russian.

    A story in which Shane and Ilya become parents without being ready, Ilya's trying his best and Shane is completely lost.
