“I want to,” Xie Lian replied simply. Hua Cheng bit his lip and then let it go quickly, aware of Xie Lian's watchful eyes on his face.
His thumbs slid down Hua Cheng's nose and swept under his eyes ticklishly. Hua Cheng's brow twitched.
“It's not a chore,” Xie Lian reassured quietly.
“I know,” Hua Cheng said, sighing.
He really did. Xie Lian cared. Because they were married. Because he loved Hua Cheng. Because he didn't want Hua Cheng to be in pain.
Hua Cheng's chest expanded on a deep breath.
“I know,” he repeated.

Xie Lian blushed, looking away, but unable to stop the smile tugging at his lips. ”You flirt,” he admonished Hua Cheng, the other only chuckling at his feigned annoyance.

Summary
