“It’s…” Keiji starts to correct him, then realizes it isn’t worth the effort. There’s no point dragging out a conversation with someone he knows he’s never going to see again. He gives the patron a small nod and says, “It’s fine. I’m just doing the job they pay me to do.”
“And now I know who to ask for the next time I come in!” The patron grins at him, hands resting proudly on his hips, and Keiji takes another half-step back. “Bokuto Koutarou, by the way.”
“Okay.”

“Iwa-chan, have you ever touched a boob?”
Keeping his eyes on his work, Hajime tossed one of his extra pencils at Oikawa’s head.
“Ah! Iwa-chan!” Oikawa half-toppled out of his cross-legged position where he sat on Hajime’s bed. “What was that for!? You could have poked my eye out!”
“I can’t deal with your weird, lame-ass attempts at bragging right now,” Hajime lifted his head just enough to shoot Oikawa a glare. “Just because you have decided to spend all of your newfound free time indulging your weird little cult instead of studying for our finals this week, doesn’t mean I have to hear about how you felt up Kamada-san last night.”
Ever since they had lost their last chance at Nationals, he had been finding it harder and harder to cajole Oikawa into a more tolerable state. Neither of them had ever not had to go to volleyball practice every day, and while Hajime was glad Oikawa hadn’t taken up his old habit of overworking himself, it was still decidedly annoying to hear about Oikawa’s attempts at dating.

Tadashi's eyes bulged; it was in fact Tsukishima—and Hinata.
The website was so garish that he could barely keep up with everything he saw. Two pictures took up most of the page, with the beginnings of an article tucked beneath them, but the headline really stole Tadashi’s attention:
Ninja Shouyou Spotted at Gay Club; Slumming with D2’s Tsukishima Kei?
Tadashi blinked rapidly until disbelief gave way to a twitch in his cheek. An unbidden snort escaped and suddenly he was giggling uncontrollably. Tsukishima was going to be pissed.
When Tsukishima denies the rumors a little too successfully, the media pivots and Yamaguchi finds himself sharing the spotlight too. Tsukishima's apathy toward the new rumors leaves Yamaguchi with a new perspective on their friendship, and a confusing flutter in his chest.
