It was a fine day before.
The fight, scheduled for today, went like a walk in the park, and so there was a new whole bunch of money to spare. And so Kiryu planned to. He even weighted the options – he could visit the Castle’s own cabaret once again and bring Ai-chan a pleasant evening, let her go wild and burn the newfound cash somewhere in Sotenbori; go nuts himself and drink up, not caring at all at the inconvenience coming tomorrow – there were a helluva of tasks Akame threatened to assign him on.
He doesn’t exactly remember how he got in front of the Casino. There was a giant King sign peeking from between the others, and a lot of light as well as everywhere here, worth of a glorious amount of eyestrain for people living in the dark. The entrance was showy, for sure, but insides were classy – the usual gold & red duet accompanied with dark wood and windows as high as ceilings.
It still was a mystery, how it felt like the most suited way to unwind today.
