Alhaitham steps in between Kaveh's spread legs. Kaveh's thoughts abruptly cease.
Is it... really necessary for him to be so close?
"Don't just sit there with your mouth agape," Alhaitham says. His hand touches Kaveh's jaw, and he closes Kaveh's mouth. There's amusement in his eyes, in the curve of his lips. Anyone who thinks Alhaitham doesn't have emotions doesn't know him at all.
Smug. That's the expression on Alhaitham's face. Kaveh glares up at him, even as Alhaitham draws the razor close to Kaveh's skin.
Alhaitham shaves Kaveh.

Kaveh has never despised his own body more than in this moment. His cheeks flush unbidden and he feels a warm tug in his chest at something that’s hardly a compliment.
Dori sells Kaveh a love potion (under duress). Annoyed with Alhaitham, Kaveh slips it in his coffee one morning only to discover that Alhaitham's behaviour doesn't change at all...

Summary
“Shit, shit,” Will scrambles to the floor-length mirror he’d found propped up on a dumpster at the end of his Freshman year. He pulled at his sweater and fluffed his hair. “Coming!”
He trips over his feet rushing to get to the door, before freezing to glance at the tiny apartment. His sketchbooks are everywhere, his bed is unmade, and he hasn’t scooped Bowie’s litter box today. There isn’t time to do anything about it now.
Taking a calming breath in, he yanks open the door.
There, in his doorway with a giant goofy grin, stands Michael Wheeler.

Will is settling in Chicago, finishing up school, and dating. Mike is a college dropout on his 10th manuscript rejection with nothing to look forward to but Will's visits home. When Will cancels at the last minute, Mike impulsively shows up at his door. They adjust to old comforts and new discomforts, struggling to agree on what they are to each other.
