He’d caught himself threatening to fall forward, probably straight into some diner’s dumpster, and taken the chance to right himself before he did something so completely ridiculous. Sensei would blow a fuse if he saw that. After all the drills he’d had Leo run through from such a young age, one would think that he’d retain one or two of them, especially in such a low-stakes environment.
He shook his head, amused at the thought. He could probably recite the very Space Heroes episode he’d watched the day that his father first taught him the importance of his balance, yet the information all but disappeared from him now.
It was weird how the brain retained memories. He supposed it had to do with their bases. Too bland, and they’d never stand out against the sea of all that came before them. Too eye-catching, and he’d never move past them. They had to be just right, just the correct blend of both for the mind to keep them.
or, in an ironic turn of events, the only one unable to remember the time loop that always ends with Leo’s death is Leo.

So, Yunho hides his fangs, keeps a tight check on his wolfish traits, and does his best to be a normal boyfriend.
Song Mingi never really pictured himself having a non-magical partner. It’s difficult having a relationship with someone who has no idea about the secret world of witchcraft, but Yunho is the loveliest person he’s ever met, and Mingi will put up with any inconvenience for him. So, Mingi hides his herbs and crystals when Yunho comes over, does his best to keep his eyes from changing colour unexpectedly, and tries his hardest to be a normal boyfriend.
…Someone should really tell them.

Summary
You would've expected Binghe to master the art of a stone-cold-face in the Abyss, but the Binghe looking back at him had his deep red eyes wide and lips parted.
“Shixiong missed me?” Binghe inhaled, like he couldn’t believe it.
“Of course, I did!” Ming Fan shouted, suddenly feeling offended. “One instant you were next to me at the Alliance, and then you were gone, and I couldn't even try to reach for you! Why do you think I wouldn't!?”
Shen Yuan is thrown into Ming Fan's body, without a system. The results of this end up with a very different reunion after Luo Binghe is thrown into the abyss.

What a crushing responsibility it must be, to subtly shift fate this way and that. How tragic, how sad- this is all reasonable for why Zhao Qinglin ignored the urgent request for the third time in a row! Or perhaps some tragedy was prevented by his non answer...
That was how simpletons like his fellow Peak Lords rationalized it.
Shen Qingqiu thought that perhaps Zhao Qinglin was just a lay about. Kan Zhanbu was the tiniest of the twelve Peaks. The last that Shen Qingqiu had heard, the Peak only boasted one Elder, two Masters, and five Disciples- none of this counting Zhao Qinglin himself. Unless he spent all day gazing into the sun, he had more than enough time to pick up a brush and do his job.
