What he wasn't expecting was to instantly fall in love with the chaotic science teacher.
Danny had managed to make a new life for himself in this new dimension as a science teacher at Gotham Academy. He had a fulfilling life, teaching the kids of Gotham how to survive on the streets and then at night protecting the bats who roamed the streets. Now, to make things even better, he had somehow caught the attention of Dick Grayson. If Danny had to be honest, his life was going pretty great for him.
Now he just needed the other shoe to drop.

He squinted at the horde of walkers coming closer, snarling and stumbling toward them, their rotted hands stretching out, fleshy fingers grasping the air. Rick stood beside him, pistol hanging loosely in his hand, the other hand on his hip, a cheeky little smile playing across his face.
