Summary
Sam’s pupils are so huge, and he’s smiling at him like he’s having the best time of his life.
“Sammy,” he mutters. Sam’s gaze flicks down, then back up again. He leans in, voice dropping right next to his mouth.
“All that wind outside,” he murmurs. “Whole sky shaking apart earlier.”
"Sam,” he says, warning, pleading, both.
Sam just hums. “Oh, now you’re paying attention.”
Dean grabs at his arm. “Don’t—don’t start.”
“Start what?” Sam says innocently.
Sam’s grin flashes again, quick and sharp. “C’mon, Dean,” he murmurs. “Thought you liked the storm.”
Sam laughs under his breath. Outside, the wind comes in stronger, tickling Dean's hair and licking over his shoulders and back. It’s warm enough that it doesn’t even cool it, it just slides over his skin. Sammy glances toward the window.
“Careful,” he says softly. “Sounds like it’s picking back up.”
Dean whines a little in the back of his throat before he can stop himself.
Or: they fuck with a tornado in the back.

Summary
Sammy sniffed audibly as he clambered up Dean’s spine and got his bony little ankles in their too-big second-hand sneakers around his older brother’s middle. He tucked his chin over Dean’s shoulder, right into that little Sam-space in the hollow of his right clavicle, and Dean decided to ignore the snot he could feel streaking the side of his neck in favor of nudging his cheek up against Sammy’s too-long girl hair. Dean would never admit it, but he loved his kid’s hair. Sammy’s hair smelled like lighter fluid and corn chip dust and greasy motel water and Dean loved it.
