Summary
Donatello struggles with his feelings for his brother Leonardo and tries to deal with them the best he can. However, his defence mechanisms of having pushed his entire family away to hide his deeply shameful feelings comes back to bite him when Leonardo decides they need more team building in the from of movie nights and the two of them sharing a bed at night.

Donatello knows he's in love and hates it, Leonardo is figuring himself and his feelings out; they both slowly grow more obsessed with each other, changing their ways of viewing both each other and the situation they're in. Let's hope it ends well for them...~

Nothing worthwhile was coming to his mind, so he decided to spend a couple of seconds looking around his surroundings, trying to find something that could give him some idea. So his gaze came across a television, which was on in the window of a small store, not far from where they were.
To his surprise, they were broadcasting one of those commercials that Splinter loved, you know, just an absurd commercial of an Asian girl promoting cleaning products. Nothing out of the ordinary in the silly commercial, until Leo paid more attention than necessary to the girl's attire in the commercial.
And he had an idea so crazy and wacky, he felt all his nerves tense up, to the point where he almost threw up with excitement.
“Dress up like a girl! Like a maid!”
“Excuse me... what?”
“But not only that, you'll have to completely slip into the role of Maid. Be my beautiful maid for 24 hours!”
"WHAT?!"
“Well, Dee, are you going to dress up as a sexy Maid girl to keep your word, or not?”
"NO!"

At first, Leonardo tried not to give it much importance when he felt that it was a little more difficult to breathe. But the symptoms started to get worse, to the point where he started coughing non-stop, feeling terribly suffocated.
Well, maybe it was just a cold? It was almost winter, the weather was quite unstable, so a cold could be something quite normal.
Sadly, that was not his case.
"Hanahaki desease, a condition in which the sufferer coughs and vomits petals and/or flowers for one-sided or unrequited love. Each flower and its color express a meaning, but when the roses appear, the thorns on the stems pierce the lungs, announcing that the sufferer's life is in danger"
The young turtle ran his hands over his face, trying to dispel the tiredness and bitterness that flooded his being. He is angry. To think that such a thing could happen to him, of all people.
They are no longer just petals, now they are whole flowers. They are abundant, but so is the blood.
He is dying, and though he knows there is an option to save himself, the price is too high... but time to decide is running out.
