Summary
Bars were never Annabeth’s scene. The floor too sticky, the music too loud, the crowd too packed into one small space. For her first three years at New Rome University, she had never taken up her friends’ and colleagues’ invites to go out with them, even after she had turned 21. To her, bars were just a breeding ground for germs and hookups that she had no business attending to.
Percy was dragged to his usual bar by his roommate in an attempt to break old habits.
