“Please,” Yuji croaks anyway, the terrible ache in his throat making his eyes water.
“That’s not going to work on me.” Is the flat response, something cold and assessing in the way he tilts his head. The air behind him thick with coils of cursed energy, at least fifty spirits poised to be unleashed upon him at a flick of his wrist. “Did he fight you?”
Yuji flinches.
“Or is he still resisting?” Geto continues, head tilting ever so slightly as he looks down at him. “You’re looking a little worse for wear.”
“I- he-” Blood clogs his throat and Yuji coughs, slapping a hand over his mouth. It comes away bright red. Everything tastes of old rust. Everything hurts. “No. I don’t-” His voice gives out for a moment, “He’s not fighting me anymore.”
For a single instant Geto looks stricken, something raw and unguarded flitting over his face too fast to name. And then there’s nothing. Only bland apathy and a clenched jaw.
“I see.” A snout pushes out of the ether, and a grotesque face beside it. Cursed energy thick enough to cut filling the space. “Then it’s time you give back his body.”

A gripping tale of ANBU shenanigans, disturbing romances, and excessive gore. Highly self indulgent.
