Summary
Luke’s hands are reverent as he peels away wrinkled gauze. Next to him, on the side table, is the small kit Jon left the hospital with.
He hoped that once it ran out, he was clear to go back to work. Then his physical therapist set him up with a restock.
“Elias wanted me to check on you, you know, to make sure you weren’t hanging from the ceiling,” is Luke’s explanation as to why he’s at Jon’s doorway. He laughs at his own bluntness, then, “Sorry. He didn’t say it like that. That’s all me.” -

Summary
Luke showing up at Martin's flat after work was one of many compulsions that seemed to guide his everyday actions now.
Martin would never tell Jon (if he even had the chance to anymore) that he experiences similar compulsions. This one urged him to tether Luke from the vast and bundle him into his arms. It echoed on repeat: care and contain. Now Luke’s mouth was on him, starting to bob on his cock.
--
Martin's been on testosterone for some time now. Luke appreciates the changes. -

Summary
Silco was promised an enforcer. A weakened one, certainly, but an enforcer nevertheless. When one of his muscles announced that the crumpled body of one was found– A possible replacement for Undersheriff Marcus, since he turned tail when the dead weight of a teenager was now too much for him to carry– Silco decided it was worth a shot.
Maybe Silco hoped for a man. Maybe he hoped for someone of Sheriff Grayson’s stature, proof that his men could handle more than they could chew. But instead, in front of him sprawled what was little more than a boy.
--
Silco swore to himself he wasn't one for adoption, for pity, even as the girl formerly known as Powder is tucked away warm. He, especially, doesn't take in bastard strays.
