Upon hearing that, he places a hand on my thigh underneath the table, leaning into me and the deep, growl of his boyish chuckle and warmth of his breath tickles my ear. His green eyes have this cheeky glint and those dimples that I love so much make another appearance. He speaks so quietly into my ear that I'm not sure even I hear it "No way, Princess. You stole my heart, It's only fair I get something in return right?"

it happens that the stories her grandmother told her mother were true
After all, when she mysteriously falls from the sky, she ends up landing on a dragon, and of course, on its rider.
He ends up becoming completely infatuated with her (let's say obsessed)He was captivated by she the moment your eyes met. He believes she is a gift from the gods to him, and that she is his now, and so he takes her with him to Stepstone (basically kidnapping her).
It was her fault, because the first stupid thing that came out of her mouth, and to avoid death at his hands, was to say that she was a gift. That backfired on her.
Well... she made her bed, and now she would have to lie down in it.
And maybe it's not so bad after all.
