It’s officially been over a month since Ingo went into the subway tunnels and never came back out. Emmet has been banned from both joining the search parties and operating large machinery, so he’s been spending his days listlessly pacing their apartment, hoping that one day Ingo would just walk right through the door and back into his life.
So when that does happen (literally. Ingo walked THROUGH the door.) he doesn’t know what to think.
OR:
Giratina turns Ingo into a distortion ghost so he can eventually be reunited with his brother. He’s just gotta wait a few hundred years, is all. Unfortunately for Emmet, after a couple centuries, a person’s perception of time tends to get a little wonky.Better late than never, right?

If you were unlucky enough to find yourself lost the spirit would find you, it’s snow white eyes seeing into your very soul and bright purple blue flames hypnotic attempting to lead you astray. It was said to have a voice louder than thunder speaking in a language unlike anything anyone has ever heard.

Summary
An injured Zoroark tries to wander into the Pearl Clan settlement, and they turn it away. A reasonable and wise decision. If it had actually been a Zoroark. Lady Sneasler finds an injured human in the Icelands and takes it upon herself to care for them. The human is unusual in many ways and shows no fear of her. She quickly decides to keep this human. The Pearl Clan does not like this decision.
Ingo finds himself in an unfamiliar world with no memory of anything except his own name. The humans who make their home here are frightening and unkind, but the Pokemon who takes him in is warm and welcoming. He will have to learn a lot of new and terrifying things to survive in this world, but Lady Sneasler is there to help. And if he slowly loses his grip on his own humanity, well, he doesn't care much for the only other humans he knows anyway.(Or, Ingo gets turned away by the Pearl Clan, taken in by Lady Sneasler, and goes a little bit feral out in the wilderness.)

Ingo never expected to find out where he came from, let alone after giving Rei his Pokeball. Now, he just has to convince his trainer to stay in Nimbasa, figure out what exactly Tram Plasma wants with him, and somehow tell Emmet that the weird Zoroark that keeps breaking into his house is actually his brother.
Or, Ingo dies and comes back as a Zorua. There are a lot of ways this can play out. In this one, Ingo doesn’t master his illusions well enough to regain his life as a human. Instead, he tries to embrace what being a Pokémon means for him and tags along with Rei’s trip to modern Unova as a member of his Pokémon team.

Ingo really doesn’t know how he’s going to explain to his brother that he’s actually an extinct type of Zoroark.
