    Summary

May 2026: This series is not abandoned, but please stop asking when the next work is coming. I wrote eight fics totalling 1.3mill words in 10 months. I'm allowed to take a break and work on something else. If the current date is not February 2028, do not ask me when the update is coming or if the series is abandoned. To the 99% of readers who leave lovely comments and don't ask about SoN: y'all are awesome, please keep being you.

Percy has been seeing the past and the future all his life. When he was seven and about to die, he called out to Apollo for help. Apollo brought his brand new baby prophet to his oldest living son, Lee Fletcher, to care for. From there the events of Percy Jackson and The Olympians unfold, both similar to, but also entirely different from canon.

Characters are slightly different ages than canon, and some have different backgrounds. This is Percy Jackson reinterpreted with found family, far too much future knowledge and way too much involvement from the Fates.

    Summary

“The Fellowship is to set out in December,” Lord Elrond explained, “I require your services as a Messenger to travel with them, until you’ve passed the mountains, or until Gandalf sees fit to release you.”
Panic coiled in Rhosynel’s chest, as two things became apparent. Firstly, that she could easily end up roped into travelling further on the whims of a wizard. And secondly, that if word reached her employer that she point-blank refused Lord Elrond, she’d be kicked from the Messenger services.
In other words, Rhosynel was trapped.

Working as a messenger Rhosynel is accustomed to travelling the length and breadth of Middle Earth, so carrying a missive to the village of Bree should have been easy. But this simple task sets off a chain of events, entangling her in the lives of strangers and the fate of Middle Earth, which leaves her fighting to keep both them, and herself, alive.

    Summary

How did it come to this?

Loyal to her family, her lands and her people, Théadain, the illegitimate daughter of Théoden, King of Rohan, has little concern for the world that lies beyond her familiar grasslands. When all that she loves is threatened, she must risk the position she has fought long and hard to earn, plunging herself into a conflict she never sought. As she learns of the rising darkness in far off corners of her world, she begins to realise that her fate may lead her beyond the familiar, and may entwine with the fates of others in ways she could never have foreseen.

'Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? They have passed like rain on the mountain. Like wind in the meadow. The days have gone down in the West, behind the hills, into shadow...'
