When he boards the elevator he’s upset. By the time he leaves the elevator he’s angry, each reverberation of his feet hitting asphalt felt in the remaining bones and surgical grade titanium in his right leg, all the way up to his hip. It takes him less than sixty seconds to walk from the parking deck to the ambulance bay. Ten feet from the entrance, he sees Robby walk through the first set of doors, past Ahmad, and then through the second set of doors. His pulse roars in his ears, his heart pounding in his chest. For the first time in years, Jack Abbot feels something approximating rage, an emotion he has long assumed to be medicated out of him.
His hands furl into fists.

A full smile blooms on Abbot’s face. “Dr Mohan, you have your own go-bag?!” He looks absolutely delighted as she rolls her eyes and reaches down to her backpack, fighting her own smile.
“You don’t get the goods if you make fun of me, Dr Abbot.”
His right hand moves from his leg to rest over his heart. His eyes dance at her as his features slip into a farcical mask of shock.
“Hey hey, woah woah, this is awe I’m giving you, baby!”

“And—uh,” Hudson says, voice hitching just enough that he has to swallow the spit in his mouth, hard against the feeling lodged in his throat. “Connor.”
Connor looks up then, mildly surprised, eyes meeting Hudson’s like he has no idea what Hudson could possibly say to and about him. Hudson forces himself to get through the words. “Thank you. For everything you bring to this show. To the scenes. To every room we’re in. My life. You make it better, all of it.”
It’s heartfelt. Probably too heartfelt. The kind of thing he’ll replay in some video from some random crew member’s Instagram post later and wince at. But the room is too drunk and too happy, too full of love to really notice anything. Besides, it’s not like they’re not used to it. ‘Hudson loves Connor too much,’ they always throw around like it’s a given. None of what he’s said would feel out of place for anyone in the room except, maybe, for him.

Summary
Minho decides to finally follow Jisung back on Instagram after all these months, playing it off as if he didn’t care the entire time.
It takes Jisung approximately two minutes to accept Minho’s request, and three minutes afterwards for him to post a thirst trap on his story —abs out, lightning in his favour, as the never missing necklaces around his neck are held tightly in between his teeth, only half of his face visible.
And one more minute for Jisung to text Minho.
