"Yeah," Katsuki says. "Thanks, Shouto."
Saying it doesn't feel like enough. He catches the light eyebags under Shouto's eyes, catches him the times he'd wake up randomly in the night and feel Shouto there beside him, holding his hand and being a cooler or heater as needed.
And Katsuki's better at showing his gratitude, thanks stored in cut peaches or a massage turned more. But right now, he's a potato disguised as a man lying in bed and there's nothing else he can do but convey sincerity in words.
Shouto squeezes his hand, dimples showing as he smiles. "Of course."
He gets it though. He always does.
OR: Katsuki gets sick.

“Listen Kacchan,” Izuku interrupts. “Todoroki-kun’s latest children’s book has become a major best-seller. They’re reading it in schools all over Japan, and it’s nearly sold out in every bookstore. We have to keep the momentum going. A book tour will do just that.”
Katsuki scrunches his nose but doesn’t respond because everything Izuku has said is true.
“Sorry that I’m such a good author, Bakugou,” Todoroki quips, and Katsuki snaps his head to the side, catching the smug smile tugging at Todoroki’s lips.
“You’re fuckin’ pushing it, halfie.”

Katsuki (grudgingly) accompanies Todoroki on his book tour and falls in love somewhere along the way.

Summary
Todoroki frowns, and steps off his horse. He increases the size of his flame, lighting up more of the land around him. He’s in a pretty barren area, so it doesn’t help him gauge where he is at all.
“Oh Ryuu, I think we’ve gotten ourselves into a bit of trouble.”
“Damn right you have.”
Todoroki startles, whipping around to see a shirtless boy with spiky blond hair pointing a sword at his throat. Not an ideal situation, but he’ll take what he can get.
“Get yourself together, Shouto, the very handsome boy has a sword ready to gut you,” his rational side thinks.
“Woah, handsome boy,” his teenage side thinks.

Prince Todoroki Shouto gets lost one day while exploring with his beloved horse, and bumps into Barbarian Prince Bakugou Katsuki. It's the best mistake he's ever made.
