Summary
It's 85 degrees out at 7am and Mike is biking to work because he's an idiot. He's an idiot because his gorgeous boyfriend slash boss asked him if he wanted to stay over until the heat wave passes, like a trial run of sorts, and instead of saying yes, Mike freaked the hell out and said that he didn't mind the heat. No, actually, he loves it. Back when he was a bike messenger he would be out there delivering packages in all sorts of weather so he's absolutely fine in his Brooklyn apartment with no air conditioning. He’s good. Really.

Summary
Mike was desperate. He needed to get a very persistent client, who had specifically requested him, off his back without jeopardizing the firm's soon-to-be biggest account. Telling the client off wasn't an option. Jessica would kill him, or worse, fire him if he lost the business.
Then Mike looked through the conference room glass and spotted Harvey. An idea came to him. It seemed harmless enough at the time.
After all, it was only supposed to be fake dating.
Who knew it would end up like this?
{Yes, the title is the FOB song :)}

Summary
The first time it happened was about a year after Mike started working for him. He’d turned up at the door soaking wet, waving a contract in Harvey’s face, jabbering on about how it was the missing piece to their puzzle.
Harvey doesn’t make a habit of letting people crash on his couch, but the case in question had dragged out weeks longer than anyone had expected, and in truth they were all completely exhausted. Which may be a small part of the reason why Harvey had made the generous (idiotic) decision to let Mike stay…
--
A series of ridiculous events leads Harvey to find out that Mike suffers from nightmares, and he doesn't think he's ever felt so helpless.

Summary
For one brief moment, Harvey’s gaze dipped downward—toward Mike’s mouth.
Then it was gone again so quickly Mike almost convinced himself he’d imagined it.
Harvey leaned back slightly, expression returning to that maddening calm amusement.
“All right, puppy,” he murmured, voice low and rough around the edges. “You’re a big boy. I stand corrected.”
The nickname hit Mike like a physical blow.
His throat suddenly felt dry.
Oh, he was absolutely doing this on purpose.
Mike licked his lips absentmindedly before immediately regretting it when Harvey’s eyes flickered downward again.
Jesus Christ.
