“Why’d you do that?” You ask, a bewildered smile passing over your face.
“Because my time is valuable and I won’t have it interrupted by him.” He replies with a flare of vehemence that was not present before. At this, his brow furrows at the idea of your gossip session being interrupted by the likes of Dick Grayson.
“I thought you liked him.” You return, trying very hard to not laugh at the stern little man glowering at you.
