Three fingers push between Clark’s parted lips this time, filling his mouth. Clark chokes a little. Saliva pools in his mouth and drips down his chin.
Zod smiles almost fondly and presses down harder, watching Clark struggle around the intrusion. “Will you give yourself to me so your humans might live?”
Zod demands a servant. Clark serves.

In an attempt to retrieve his lost memories, Lex inadvertently resets his own brain back to its factory settings and reverts back to his 23-year-old self at the exact moment his mind was wiped at Belle Reve in 2003. He wakes up alone and confused in 2016 with no idea that he and Clark are enemies and absolutely no recollection of the many ways they've hurt each other.
Clark's memories, on the other hand, are still completely intact. He knows exactly what went wrong between them, and he refuses to make the same mistakes twice.
The truth, and their inability to tell it, is what tore Clark and Lex's relationship apart. Now it's the only thing that can bring them back together.

Lex finally figures out a way to make amends for inadvertently causing the death of all Jonathan's cows in 1x14 "Zero".

It seemed innocence was a state of mind, not body, and it could coexist quite easily with desire. He wouldn't have suspected that three months ago, but it gave things an edge that thrilled him. Like even when they were dirty, they were pure as snow. Which probably explained why Clark had no problem with dirty.
