Cole extinguishes his cigarillo in the ceramic ashtray Fareeha brought back from her trip to Istanbul when she was eighteen and walks over to Genji, making sure not to get too close out of respect and, though he doesn’t want to admit it, a tinge of fear. Even curled up on the floor and shaking, the cyborg looks quite intimidating.
He leans against the wall opposite to the one his roommate is resting his head on and observes him quietly for a couple of seconds.
“Does it hurt?” He asks, worried.Genji nods, if only slightly, and clutches his side as he whispers: “It always does.”
In which Cole Cassidy has spent the past few years trying to find his footing as a Blackwatch agent after a lifetime of uncertainty, and he likes to think that he's finally found some semblance of stability.
