“I can help you, Till.”
“No, you can’t,” he quickly denied.
His limbs felt heavy as Ivan manipulated him at will, separating him from the comforting support that was his shoulder. Gripping his cheeks between his palms, the tips of Ivan’s fingers turned white from the force with which he squeezed Till’s jaw. It hurt enough to be noticeable, yet not enough to be unpleasant. Till couldn't tell if Ivan’s gaze was more piercing than his fingers digging into his skin.
“I can."
When Io falls ill, Till is forced to resort to dubious methods to pay for her treatments. At the hospital where she is at, he finds a doctor with dull eyes and an unwavering desire to fulfill his every wish.

Summary
Ivan's birthday was coming up, and though Till already had two presents set aside for her, she wanted to surprise her girlfriend with something special, catch her off guard for once.
Trying to think of something Ivan could want, she was persistently bugged by a request made to her a few times before, something she never thought she'd indulge in, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad?
Of course, she'd been way too naive about this, and ended up biting a little more than she could chew.

Summary
Harboring feelings for a straight girl was the bane of Ivan's existence, and also the singular beacon of her own humanity she had. She'd been in love with Till for so long she couldn't remember what it was like not to want her, even if she knew it could never go anywhere from the start.
Her entire world gets turned on its head in what seemed like the most banal setting possible: their first houseparty. Maybe it was the alcohol, maybe Ivan was just delusional, but maybe, just maybe, her feelings might not have been as unrequited as she thought.
