"I began wondering if you hated me. I left you alone. That final day we saw eachother in the orphanage five years ago, I left you behind." Her voice cracked. "But I never wanted to! So I sent you letters upon letters, but you rarely replied. Nii-chan, I hate this. I want us to be together again, but I know that’s impossible."
He was silent. Hamuko maintained eye contact with him. "It’s just… I still want you to be there in my life. Do you not want to?”
Years after the Moonlight Bridge incident, the Arisato twins were separated. Fast forward four years, Hamuko tries to reconnect with her brother. Sadly, the passage of time is a hard pill to swallow.
