She wouldn’t be useful anymore, and they would need someone to blame for all the damage she’d caused, and therefore she would be paraded around the world for endless trials and eventually rot in prison in whatever country decided to take her on.
She had not expected it to come so fast.

or, Eva Stratt is whisked around the world for trial after trial, the situation deteriorates far faster than anyone had predicted, and she keeps asking herself why. Until one day the Hail Mary contacts the ISS requesting to dock and asking for a ride back to Earth.
