Summary
It started with a cough. An annoying, wet cough that shook his frame for a couple of seconds before going away. Then, the cough lasted longer, and longer, until Satoru was hacking into his fist for minutes at a time.
Shoko glances at him once, eyes narrowed as she tries to piece together what on earth could make someone like him cough. He doesn’t get sick, and she knows that. He doesn’t get sick, so why is he coughing like a kid with a summer cold?
Satoru doesn’t explain. Instead, he pushes it down when around others, ignoring it to the best of his ability until that, too, becomes impossible.
Because here, a good two months later, he stands in his apartment with a bloody petal sitting in the palm of his hand.
A couple of years after Geto Suguru leaves Jujutsu Tech, Satoru Gojo coughs up a flower petal.

Summary
"It just works better like that. Taking his mind off of the logistics and the meaning of it all and the implications lets him put that focus to better work on the actual thing he cares about: hockey. It really isn’t that different from outsourcing his branding to Mom, or any less embarrassing than his dietician meal prepping for him or his trainer mapping out his workout plan. They’re experts in their field, nutrition and marketing and fucking. Shane is an expert in his: taking all that into his body and using it to be fucking awesome at hockey. It’s win, win, win.
Meals get delivered at his door. Room numbers and plans get texted to him. And appointments with photographers get emailed with subject lines reminding him to remember to use the good shampoo in his hair before them.
He’s still in control in the sense he’s letting it all happen for him, except that sometimes, especially at these stupid fucking photoshoots, it feels a little bit like it’s happening to him, instead."
Shane gets into a bad situation with a photographer who has pictures Shane would rather not get out. Ilya and Rose find out about it, eventually.
