Summary
Hitoshi always tried his best to be grateful. He always tried to remember where he started, and what got him to where he was. He remembered how hard it was being in general studies while seeing people training to become amazing heroes. He thought back to even before that, when people told him his quirk would be better suited for evil. And he swore then that he would never do that, no matter the cost. He would try his best, always. And it worked. He got onto the hero course, he had an amazing mentor, and he went on to become the hero he’d always wanted to be, working full time at one of the best agencies in Japan alongside Denki Kaminari.
They worked hard, mostly doing night shifts, even though Denki was a morning person, he wanted to work with Hitoshi for some reason so their schedules lined up. It worked pretty well. Almost everyone that graduated from their year either lived in the same apartment building or only a few streets away. They often socialised and went out for drinks and food, and Denki would try to drag Hitoshi along.
“It’ll be fun.” He’d say.
“You’ll like it.”
Little did he know, Hitoshi couldn’t think of anything worse.
