"We're soulmates, Suguru. You and I."
"Satoru, my soul aches for you. But my soul does not belong to you."
“What is faith to you, then?”
Suguru thought of his father’s hand on his shoulder. He thought of God watching every thought, every desire before it became sin. He thought of the strange, bright cruelty of Satoru’s face and the fact that beauty had not led him to prayer today.
“Instruction,” Suguru said at last. “Judgment. Mercy, sometimes, if you are good enough to receive it.”
Satoru’s gaze sharpened. “And are you?”
Suguru handed him the cigarette because he did not trust himself with it anymore. “I’m trying.”
Satoru took it. Their fingers brushed briefly, sending shivers down Suguru's spine.
“You’re very interesting, Suguru Geto.”

“We can figure this out—“
“There is no we,” Suguru cuts him off, a certain kind of finality etched into his tone. He shoves his hands into his pockets, turns on his heels.

Summary
All he could really make out was a tall silhouette dressed in monk robes casually leaning on the bridge.
The moon slowly came out from behind the trees, giving Satoru a better view of the man in front of him.
The new light illuminated the face's sharp features- features of a face he hasn't seen in over eight years.
A face he isn't supposed to see again.
Wind ruffles the broad figures long black hair, half of it tied up in a loose bun.
Satoru's breath catches.
Without even relying on his six eyes, it took less than a second for him to know who it was.
"Suguru?"
It came out as a whisper, or almost a plea.
Or:
Just when Gojo Satoru’s life began to crumble from eight years of separation and isolation, in walks Geto Suguru back into his life
