The envelope on her pillow came as a surprise.
It was heavy cream paper, sealed with black wax stamped in a crest Enid didn’t recognise. Her name was written across the front in a precise, old-fashioned hand: Enid Sinclair.
Enid flopped onto her bed, tore it open, and unfolded the sheet inside. The first line made her bark out a laugh.
“Obituary: Enid Sinclair, survived by excessive glitter and poor taste.”

Enid’s plan of ignoring her teeny tiny crush on her roommate and best friend, Wednesday Addams, is going splendidly. Truly. Nobody is even suspecting a single thing. She is sure, that she can easily keep this up forever - or until her little crush finally subsides.
