Summary
It isn't as pretty as he imagines it would be. Not that dying is ever pretty—but he decides it would've been nice to see a petal or two. That's what he thought it was when he was first diagnosed. He's heard the term 'Hanahaki' so many times. He is a reader, after all.
Countless stories of the disease crop up in his memory, and each had a familiar, reoccurring theme. Flowers, love, beauty. But now that he's going through it himself, he thinks it's the complete opposite. It's ugly, disgusting and messy. It's not love, it's more like obsessive torment plaguing his mind. And unlike the stories, he will never have his love save him.
It's not because he wants to be brave, to push through it all and be strong. It's not because he doesn't want to worry anyone. And it's not because he wants to keep his feelings a secret. Rather, it's because he doesn't know who his love is.

Summary
Before Kim Dokja can make fun of him, Joonghyuk splutters and stumbles back. In the process, the cigarette slips from Dokja's hand and onto the floor. But he's not too focused on the lost cig, more than he is Joonghyuk. He turns to face him completely, at a complete loss of what to do. He's coughing, borderline retching.
Dokja reaches out, a hand patting Joonghyuk's back and the other brushing his hair away from his eyes. "Easy, easy." He soothes, and Joonghyuk listens. His coughing fit finishes as quickly as it came, and he looks up at Dokja with tears in his eyes. The older has to repress his laughter at the sight of him. "You—Are you okay?" He coughs out, pursing his lips together tightly.

Kim Dokja raised his arm, and gently began to caress the side of Yoo Joonghyuk's face with the backside of his palm. "It'll be alright." He cooed, the words coming out more strained than sweet. The other man didn't bother gracing him with a response in his misery-ridden stupor.
With the opportunity at hand, he couldn't afford to turn away and act like he hadn't thought of it. He'd already fantasized about this, so doing it was really no more different.
"It'll be alright." He murmured again. This time, he felt like he was just saying it to himself. A final comfort before throwing all caution to the wind and risking everything. Slowly, his hand reached down and gripped onto the leather of Yoo Joonghyuk's belt.

Kim Dokja paused, looking at him for a moment, before glancing down with a solemn expression on his face. Yoo Joonghyuk hated himself for forcing that devastating look on him. He wanted to rip his eyes away and hide, but something within him wouldn't let him. Even with that unbearable sadness in Kim Dokja's eyes, he still smiled lightly and asked, "Is it so wrong?"
"I—I'm not... It's not you that's wrong. It's me. It's all me."
Kim Dokja placed his cold hand on Yoo Joonghyuk's cheek and left a chaste kiss on his forehead.
"No," He murmured, looking up at him through his eyelashes. A breath escaped his lips, and he smiled just a little brighter. "Right?"
Suddenly, Yoo Joonghyuk remembered why he suffered for all these years. It was for this single moment. "No," He breathed. "No. I—I suppose not."

Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk are casted to be the main characters of an upcoming BL. Finally having an opportunity to spend time with the other, Yoo Joonghyuk tries (and fails) to make Kim Dokja swoon. Unfortunately, Kim Dokja thinks Yoo Joonghyuk's advances are a way of method acting.
