My take on 'Mando needs a caregiver for Baby Yoda'. A light romance.
"He stooped down to the trembling figure on the ground, pulled brown wavy hair back and recognized the girl from that morning. “Are you all right?” He frowned as he lifted her carefully by the elbow to her knees and let her catch her breath.
She looked up at his voice, saw his helmet shining in the dim light and gasped in evident relief, “Oh Sir!” She clutched at his gloved hand and attempted to stand but reeled forward as her head spun from the blows she had received. Mando caught her and laid her gently on the ground, “Lie still a moment.” She closed her eyes and murmured, “Thank the Maker you came,” a sentiment which undoubtedly had never before been uttered to the Mandalorian in his long history as a bounty hunter.Bookmarked by dbaker77

Summary
The sun was setting again when you had completed all external repairs. You were currently inside the ship, fixing wiring issues you were sure could be finished within the next few minutes. This is why you had shoved yourself halfway into a small opening in the ship, the panel pulled aside and at your feet with your headlamp illuminating the crevice. Why the wiring was so far into the ship wall, you didn’t understand, and didn’t have the energy to question. You were simply relieved that you were small enough to fit into the opening.
That was, until you couldn’t get out.
You cursed and spat enough words to make a mercenary blush, kicking at the wall for what was at least a few embarrassing moments before stopping to catch your breath.
This evening couldn’t get any worse.
“You’re supposed to fix my ship, not dent it.”
It could get worse, apparently. And it did.
