He watched you evenly, unblinking with those dark, tired eyes for a few long seconds before he sighed, and in the next breath you watched him begin to shrug his suit jacket from his shoulders.
“Hey, what are you doing?” You blabbered.
“Spanking seems as good a punishment as any,” he replied simply, like he hadn’t just agreed to administer literal corporal punishment on a colleague, “Unless of course you’re a thief and a coward?”You're a defense lawyer, not that you've ever really been into the whole "defending innocents" thing. To make things simple - you like money, lots of it. If someone can pay your fees, chances are you'll take their case - and if they tip well? Shit you might even make the charges disappear entirely.

Except the boy in question is Higuruma Hiromi: brilliant legal wunderkind with the heart of gold. Disillusioned with the system in which he placed so much faith, he goes off the rails in his mid-thirties to awaken to his true genius as a jujutsu sorcerer, but it comes at the cost of his soul.
And the girl? Well, it’s you: kind, mysterious, and also grappling with newfound cursed powers, the full extent of which remains to be seen but has already been deemed by some to be dangerously unacceptable — incompatible with the new world order in the aftermath of the Culling Game.
And for the second time in his existence, Higuruma Hiromi will have to make yet another decision that could change everything:
Decide how far he is willing to go in the name of love.

When he is still a man past his prime, not the wolf but in fact seated among them, and though he does not salivate, does not sink his teeth into the softness offered up to him, the very fact of his presence damns him all the same.
