Anon is on his last leg after the Volcano High shooting, having lost all sense of purpose and will to live after the loss of Fang and seeming abandonment by everyone else still alive in his life.
Rosa is stretched thinner than she's ever been, fully absorbing herself with Stella’s mental recovery while also working with Principal Spears to continue their gardening club as a form of therapy, purposefully leaving no time for her to even think about what happened for more than a glancing thought.
Through gardening, maybe they'll be able to help each other move on, pulling each other up and out of the spiral of darkness. Maybe they'll end up helping a few others too. And quite possibly, maybe their renewed friendship will lead to something that could’ve happened in the first place, if not for a certain parasaur’s initial schedule-meddling.Maybe there's still a future for all of them, after all.
