Summary
It’s been three years since the war.
Katara and Aang ended things quietly after realizing they wanted different futures. No cheating. No betrayal. Just heartbreak from growing apart.
Meanwhile, Zuko and Mai tried again and again, but they kept falling into old patterns; distance, resentment, emotional avoidance. Eventually they let each other go.
Katara and Zuko are older now. Exhausted. Lonely. Still tied together by war scars nobody else fully understands.
One peace summit + too much Fire Nation wine = one terrible decision.
Which becomes several.
Which becomes impossible to stop.Bookmarked by doingitallforcas
