Phainon's brain stalls, his eyes widening. For reasons he will likely need to unpack very soon, his heart has started kicking up a real fuss in his chest. Distantly, he wonders if he might be dying.
It's not the first time he's been compared to a puppy or a dog—far from it, in fact. Heck, even his family had lovingly referred to him and his childhood dog as Big Snowy and Little Snowy, respectively. And he'd been perfectly normal about it every time.
Until now, apparently.
Phainon speedruns self-discovery, public humiliation, and getting together with his long-time academic rival and crush.

3 years, 4 months, and 18 days. That’s how long Caelus had been with the Stellaron Hunters. In that time, he’d come to learn many things. 5 were the most important, in the following order:
1. He loved his family more than life itself.
2. Kafka knew best, even when it didn’t seem that way.
3. Elio scared the shit out of him.
4. Never trust anyone who wouldn’t kill for you.
5. There seemed to be a narrator in his head.Admittedly, that last one might not be that important, but it was a bit concerning. Nonetheless, Caelus was content. He was a damn good fighter, had a caring family and a mostly-friendly boss, and got to travel the universe. Part of that included meeting other factions, cool people and-

Summary
When Caelus started to see ghosts around him, he clinged to the only lifeline that he had, Dan Heng. The Loner in his class, for whatever reason the ghosts avoid him, and Caelus fully started to take advantage of it to save himself.
By following him, by sleeping in the same bed as him.
By joining him in the showers, and kissing him-
Forget about ghosts, he ended up turning Dan Heng gay.

Summary
It's immature. It's satisfying.
When Phainon kicks him in the stomach to knock him back, he returns the favor. As the other man’s feet readjust to the floor, he spins his sword and hits squarely towards his face with the hilt. The prince's groan is music to his ears. Phainon watches as Mydeimos touches his nose, his hand staining crimson.
Yet, his eyes gradually widen when, instead of cursing, a grin spreads across Mydeimos’ face. Phainon follows those bloody fingers reaching to tempting lips, showing a tongue that tastes them until they are clean.
Fuck. If that’s not the most erotic thing Phainon has witnessed.
“Not bad…” Mydeimos mutters, “... Deliverer.”
In which Phainon sails to confront the captain of The Ruler, Mydeimos the undying, to find out about Nikador's treasure whereabouts. What he gains from their encounters ends up being better than any penny.
