The second Hannibal saw a mere photo of Will Graham; he was fascinated; the moment he saw the wolf looking at him from deep blue eyes, Hannibal felt intrigued.
However, having the wolf close made his fangs ache, his body sing and a pleasant challenge for Hannibal’s own sharp mind.

Summary
After the fall, Chiyoh rescues Will and Hannibal and takes them to the Lecter home in Lithuania. When Hannibal wakes up, his memories of everything - Will, being the Ripper, everything since Mischa's death - are gone. Will's only problem with that is that killing Hannibal won't be nearly as satisfying if he doesn't understand why.
Wrestling with his own feelings, or what's left in the tattered mess of them after the fight with Dolarhyde, Will stays, hoping that Hannibal will recover and give him the opportunity he's waiting for. But there are others who remember what Hannibal did, all those years ago, and they have their own bone to pick.

“That’s a pretty good bedside manner, Dr. Lecter,” Will murmured.
“I’ve never received a complaint,” Hannibal replied without flinching as he smoothed the sheets over Will’s stomach. “Though I am a bit out of practice.”
“It’s like riding a bike.”
Hannibal smiled mildly. “And being my patient? Is that like riding a bike, Will?”
Their eyes finally met again, and Will felt the tickle of danger on his flesh once more that made his breath quicken. He should have been ashamed of himself, but shame — that burden that he had carried for so long — felt far away, a rotting carcass at the bottom of an ocean.
“Something like that,” he said.
[When Will catches a tropical virus, it's an opportunity for Hannibal to play doctor again - only this time Will isn't content to let him hide behind the guise of medicine.]
