He arches a brow at her, has to work to keep his voice even. “I had to eat ice cream off a plate, Clarke. Because apparently, all my bowls have disappeared into a black hole that is your attempt at organization.”
Her mumbled response sounds suspiciously like well, you should have checked the top cabinet, you dummy.
Or: Honestly, this was not what Bellamy was expecting when he told his new neighbour to make herself at home. But then again it’s Clarke, and he really can’t bring himself to complain.

He, Abby, Clarke, Bellamy, and a few others are crowded around a table in the meeting room inside Arkadia, discussing plans to journey into the Ice Nation. Considering the precarious nature of the unspoken truce following the destruction of ALIE, if even one thing goes wrong on this trip, it’s over— and in this respect, it’s something akin to a suicide mission.
So naturally, there’s no hesitation on Bellamy’s part at all when he replies, “I’ll do it.”
And that pisses Clarke right off.

All efforts to solve these mysteries have been met with failure, which makes the subject a sore spot for some in the scientific community who cannot readily explain the phenomenon.
Nine-year-old Clarke Griffin feels a sort of kinship with these disgruntled intellectuals, peering up to look at her father from behind her cocoon of blankets with a disbelieving glare.
“But Dad, that doesn’t make any sense.” She huffed, sending a stray blonde hair flying from where it had previously been tickling her face.

“No,” he counters, “our wedding was three hours ago.” His eyes go soft with the memory, and she butts her nose against his cheek until he refocuses and smiles crookedly. “It was three hours ago,” he repeats. “Now I’m ready to take my wife home.”
