Dr Captain Ryland Grace returns to an Earth that had long designated him “history”; 58 years old, and with a body that ached in vicious revenge, Grace wanted to take Rocky and Adrian through the wonders of Planet Earth before his time came.
Rocky and Adrian would very much like it if Grace stopped referencing his mortality, and are finding Earth about as peculiar and spectacular as the man the planet gave them.
Earth is pleasantly surprised to see their intergalactic neighbours at their doorstep, and would very much like to confiscate Grace from Rocky for scientific study, because how the fuck was he still alive.

Ryland Grace wakes up the day the ArcLight probe touches down completely confused. He doesn’t remember what happened before he went to sleep, but he knows one thing: he was definitely on Erid. He’s not entirely sure what’s going on, but if the world offers him a do-over, he might as well take it. As long as he gets to meet Rocky again, that is.
But his sudden reemergence in the past is not the only weird thing going on. Maybe he hasn’t recovered all relevant memories yet or maybe it’s because he has a better read on her compared to when they first met, but Eva Stratt is acting different from how he remembers her.

♬Does that look like Earth’s probe, question?♬ Rocky asked, standing to his side.
Grace stared stock-still at the screen. “Absolutely not.”
Informed about a strange craft found orbiting Threeworld, Rocky and Grace are sent to investigate.
