Summary
AU. The Potter twins survive Voldemort’s attack. However, Albus Dumbledore knows that the root cause of the war, pureblood bigotry and hatred against Muggles and Muggleborns, will endure even if Voldemort never returns. He therefore asks Lily and James to send one of their sons to grow up in the Muggle world while training the other to battle Voldemort, so that together the twins can smooth over the differences between the magical and Muggle worlds in the political arena. Growing up, Hongjoong had heard whispered tales about the Manyeo, a cult of dark magic users that were stolen as children and moulded to become monsters. Some say that they trade their souls for power, some say that they kill anyone who sees them, some say that they're just a myth to make children behave. Once he became an adult, a pirate captain, Hongjoong had passed the Manyeo off as being figures of fiction.
But the man locked in an enemy ship's brig had all the signs: the tattoos down his back, the dye that stained his fingertips, the clothes and weapons and jewellery. Maybe he really was a Manyeo, and maybe that was why his lips had been sewn shut. You can't cast spells if you can't speak.
If he had been a wise man, Hongjoong would have killed the stranger while he was weak. If he had been a wise man, he wouldn't have looked into the other's eyes and noticed how they seemed to hold all the stars from the night sky. But Hongjoong had never claimed to be a wise man, and he wasn't about to start now.

It needs release, a coven bond, monitoring, in order for him to be considered 'safe' and 'stable' — as is recommended by the Grand High Council. A load of bullshit, if you ask him. He wants nothing to do with the Councils, coven bonds, or any witches who want him as a magical battery for their coven. Jeongguk has been fine on his own, ever since leaving his birth coven in Busan, and he will continue to be fine. Registered as a minor divinity witch, his life goals consist of: completing his shield magical casting degree and license at Seoul National University of Magick, retaining the iron control he's always had on his magic, and returning to Busan to take up his grandmother's mantle.
But. Ever since his annual winter solstice ritual, his magic has been erratic, and more powerful than ever. His newfound proximity to the Kim coven's youngest two can only bring more trouble, if he lets them get too close. Which he won't.

Summary
The second lieutenant of the Shie Hassaikai yakuza group is known to others only as 'the Caretaker.' A rather enigmatic and highly intelligent member of the family, not much is known about him outside of a select circle of trusted friends and, of course, the Shie Hassaikai itself. But to those who know him, the Caretaker is simply this: a young man who cares for his family more than anything else.
Because the Caretaker is one Midoriya Izuku, and he did not start out that way... at first, he was just a babysitter.

So he reluctantly calls Gran Torino and gets him to help train and supervise Izuku’s ten month American Dream Plan for entering UA.

A graveyard disturbed, mired fields of churned up earth and chunks of stony rubble. Craters blasted into the pavement, splinters of broken glass glinting between piles of debris like tiny bastard stars– No stone uncracked, no building untouched.
Smokey remnants drifted long between the dimming clouds, thick ribbons of lethargic, billowing ash all black and gunmetal gray, exhaling from toppled buildings like a sigh. Or final breath. It settled over the city’s carcass like a shroud. Like the fog that lingers over the road in the early morning. And everywhere, fires simmered dim and glistening– like clumps of hot coals in a bonfire. Banked, it seemed, from several days of burning, their rage already depleted.
Whatever had happened that night, Amity Park had not gone quietly.

Danny's trying to recover all the shards to an entity's chalice so that it'll stop destroying the zone while tensions rise amongst his subjects- and trying to finish high school.
Tim's juggling his case load, his work as CEO, and does not have time to be embroiled in a sex scandal right now. If that means he has to pretend to date a very suspicious heir to a rival company, then so be it.
It's a mutually beneficial relationship. So what if Tim's becoming a little too intrigued by the illusive, powerful Phantom? So what if Danny can't stand the Justice League for leaving him to deal with all of Amity's problems when he was just 14? That's a superhero thing.
And their fake boyfriend has no clue that they're a superhero.

Summary
Akatani "Yamikuno" Mikumo was a mercenary for hire, a man who did everything from assassinations to info brokering, and who seemed to know everything about everyone. He had a moral code and the spine to stick to it, and he had a hatred for the Shie Hassakai in particular.
Midoriya Izuku was the owner of a cat cafe, Midoriya's Mews. He abandoned his old life after his mother died at eleven, and picked himself up after being homeless and on the run, adopting a little girl who he would burn the world for.
Midoriya Eri was a little girl who was saved from a hopeless situation, and brings light to the cafe and her father. But her father was at the center of a very large spider web, and he was desperately trying to protect her from it.

Izuku shifted to go in the third window instead of the second - he could drop down one more floor once the hero outside was gone. He used his knife to quickly flip open the lock and slipped inside, shutting the window behind him just in time to see the hero round the corner.
He let out a sigh of relief and turned around, only to freeze at the sight of two pro-heroes, someone who was probably a hero-in-training, and a little girl in a hospital bed all staring at him.
“What, exactly, do you think you’re doing?” Eraserhead asked. Casting his gaze quickly to the side, Izuku saw a dark grey owl spirit with glowing red eyes looming over the hero's shoulder. The sharp snap of a beak from the blue, glowing heron spirit in the corner - an aosagibi clearly belonging to the other hero, Present Mic - punctuated his words.
