Soap makes it out of that tunnel alive. Grappling with a newly impaired body and mind unfit for military service, he’s forced to grieve life as he knew it. Ghost is determined to help him figure out how to do that.
Only it seems that Soap’s old life isn’t quite finished with him yet.

“Ghost, I don’t want to be dead,” he whispered, and Ghost saw that he was crying.
“You’re not dead, Johnny,” he murmured, gently running a hand through the sergeant’s mohawk. “You’ll be fine, I’m getting you out of here, I promise.”
Soap weakly tried to reach for Ghost, as if he needed to make sure that his lieutenant was really there. Ghost obliged him, gently grabbing his wrist.
“I’m here, Johnny, I’ve got you.” He could tell that something was very wrong with Soap’s hands, considering the thick bandages soaked with old blood, but his injuries would have to wait. Exfil was priority. He huffed a sigh, then he radioed in, informing Price that he’d found Soap, alive.Soap is taken by mercenaries and held captive in a black site prison on hostile territory, but his friends will stop at nothing to get him out.
It will be a long way to recovery for Soap, but Ghost is going to be there for him all the way, even if that might cost him his job, or worse.- Language:

Summary
Ghost falls first; the moment Soap steps onto the tarmac and saves him a seat. Soap arguably falls harder, hitting every awkward branch on the way down. After several instances of walking in on Ghost in various states of undress, he can no longer deny his attraction- or Ghost's.
But they can't act on their feelings, or on their inner alpha and omega instincts. Or at least... they shouldn't.

Soap touched the hem of his mask but Simon clicked his tongue in disapproval.
„Please…” he whispered but Ghost shook his head.
„You’re already begging and I haven’t even properly touched you, that’s a shame”
Simon lifted his mask slowly just to reveal his mouth that instantly attacked John’s lips. He was rough, what surprised Soap as his earlier actions were so soft and gentle. But the kiss was full of tongue, teeth and honestly, John thought it was perfect. Messy, just like them.
