“I rather think it would be me caught between the two of you,” Randvi says.
Kassandra’s eyebrows shoot up.
“I do not know about the Greeks,” Randvi says, stepping closer to Kassandra. She traces a finger over the defined lines of her chestplate. “But we Norse are not so bound by propriety as the Christians. Eivor and I are tied by love and promise, but that does not mean we cannot share in pleasure with someone we both desire.”

After her adventures with Eivor, Kassandra spends one last evening in Ravensthorpe before disappearing into the night.

Amity Blight is tired of all the dinner dates her mother kept setting her up with. So she thought of a brilliant plan, something so flawless she was sure would work-fake date a person her parents would not approve and hopefully get them off her back.
The hairs on her arm stood as Amity went over her plan once more in her head; There was no one else she could count on in her circle. So logically, she had to search for someone outside of it.
Maybe she should have thought this over for the thirty-eighth time.
