“Fuck,” Narancia groans on top of him.
Despite being midday, the apartment is dimly lit. None of the lights are on, and the only source of brightness that allows them to see comes from the one window they’d left unblinded a few meters across the room. The television, on a short time ago, has a faint glow around its edges and nothing more.
Mista’s head is laying on their couch’s armrest, and even with the bruising grip he has on Narancia’s hips, the atmosphere is calm and hazy.

Summary
“Fuck off.” Mista grumbles out in a shitty defense. Narancia doesn’t bother responding, already abandoning his job so he can brush by him; hands warm against each other as he takes the revolver.
The last man already knows what’s coming; it’s clear when Narancia yanks his head up by his hair. When the cylinder is pressed against his forehead and his eyes dart up to meet those of Narancia’s. He’s petrified. His mouth opens to plea.
He never gets the chance; Narancia pulls the trigger while still staring into his. Spray of brain matter hits the floor.

It's better to not bring up the past. Mista's not the only one who lives by that motto.
Unfortunately, the past keeps finding him.
