Summary
While they see each other basically everyday, even if just to steal a kiss perched on the stairwell of a shoddy apartment building, it's been a busy couple of weeks, and Jinx and her boyfriend haven't had many chances to spend some time together without any other impending commitment. Ekko's spread too thin, and Jinx wants nothing more than connect with him and make him feel her love when the whole world goes against him.

She did this for him every time he spent the night at her place, unpacking Ekko’s things into the one drawer in her closet that, even amidst all the chaos and the lack of space in the room, stayed empty, waiting for him. She did so even before their first kiss, when they were totally just friends, but fell asleep side by side, or back to back, waking up in a tangle of limbs the morning after.

Summary
At Runeterra's biggest music festival, Remix Rumble, Jinx and her band, The Anarchists, are on top of the world. But being on top of the world is not as fun as it seems.
But when she meets Ekko (a childhood friend she hasn't seen in over 10 years) at a party on the eve of the festival, it becomes clear that the bond they shared isn't going to fade away in the night.
Jinx, who's struggling to cope with her growing fame, and Ekko, who's disenchanted with fame and the music industry, find a lot in common and rekindle their friendship, finding unexpected companionship in each other. Little by little, their friendship grows closer, and the lines between friend and lover begin to blur.

Summary
They look at each other only to say a quick goodnight. The moonlight from the window paints silver stripes on Ekko’s dark skin, and Jinx thinks he looks like a galaxy. Maybe it’s better to close her eyes and drift off into nothingness, just to get away from all the things her body is telling her to do right now instead of sleep. If she’s lucky, she’ll dream about something really unsexy and be successfully distracted. Cafeteria food. The drowned rat she found in the toilet bowl that one time. Vi’s last girlfriend. Come on, brain, anything.
When Ekko ends up crashing at her barely furnished new apartment and they have to share a bed for the first time since grade school, Jinx is forced to accept three facts: 1) They're not kids anymore. 2) Biology is a damn traitor. And 3) Best friends shouldn't be allowed to grow up hot.
