Summary
When Dumbledore dies at the end of their fifth year after trying in a cursed ring, Draco Malfoy joins the Order of the Phoenix and claims his Lordship of House Black to secure Grimmauld Place as headquarters. Against all odds, he falls in love with, and marries Hermione Granger.

Summary
In the midst of the war, after Ron abandoned her and Harry, the last thing Hermione needed was to be dragged into a place like this: inhospitable, twisted, and cruel. Especially with someone like Lucius Malfoy, who surpassed those adjectives by far.
Hermione would be very lucky if she managed to survive and, even more, return to her loved ones before she lost them to the darkness.
