He rouses later, when Felix is half-carrying, half-hauling him through the forest. He is bulking under Dimitri’s weight, his back curving like a meridian, and Dimitri finds himself unsurprised. He is a heavy man, after all.
“Felix…”
Felix exhales, sharply. “Don’t close your eyes again,” he snaps.
Weakly, Dimitri nods. His head is spinning. His back feels flayed, splintering at the seams. As if that part of his body was carved from him, staked, and left out to fester in the sun.
Well. At least he knows now what Glenn felt in his last moments.
Dimitri suffers an injury on the battlefield. Felix is the one to find him.

“When exactly were you going to tell us about this?” his mother asks, eyes wide but lips pulling into a smirk. Bakugou knows that expression well, because it’s the same one he makes when he’s caught off-guard by something that pleases him and is trying to save face.
Great. Now his mother’s never going to shut up about his stupid soulmate.
After you meet your soulmate, your lives together are mapped across your skin in the form of soulmarks. Bakugou's been getting soulmarks since he started at UA, but he's not quite ready to accept what that means.

Why do that when you can just one-and-done that shit. Speed. Precision. Flashy. Explosive energy.

Nice. I should use that.
Stamina isn’t my thing. I like the buzzwords, the speedy buzzwords.
Stamina is more Kirishima’s thing. I guess when you’re an idiot, you can stand to punch through a wall, one strike at a time, instead of blowing it off its hinges.

Summary
Katsuki has always been wicked fast, and I guess I’ve always been sorta jealous of that. It’s way cool, you know? And super manly, being able to just jump into action and not worry about what’s going to happen. I’m too scared to do that most of the time, too worried I’ll mess up and people will get hurt. He’ll get hurt. He tries to tell me that that’s me being reasonable and level headed but sometimes, when I’m lying awake at night and thinking over the day’s work, I think a little bit of that caution comes a touch too close to fear.
It’s not that I’m a stranger to fear, far from it, actually. But courage, yeah listen to this I heard someone say it once, courage isn’t the lack of fear, it’s recognizing that sometimes things are more important than fear. Isn’t that awesome? I think so at least.
I wonder if Katsuki feels the same way. He probably doesn’t, knowing him. I’ll bet he never feels scared like I do. Or maybe...Maybe just that one time. I think I saw fear that one time. But I think, usually, he’s moving too fast for the intrusive thoughts to catch up with him.
