Summary
A ridiculous string of misunderstandings lands Jiang Cheng in a courtship with Lan Xichen. Jiang Cheng is far from thrilled, but if it gets the downtrodden Zewu-Jun out of seclusion, then he will do what he must. He can always find a way to escape it later. Lan Xichen just hopes Jiang Cheng will give up on him so he can go back to wasting away in peace. Of course, it gets a bit out of hand and the lies slowly become truth. Little by little, they both find healing in the love that grows between them. Along the way they stumble upon an ancient, forgotten mystery that turns their world upside down.
